Phentermine Hydrochloride became widely available in United States in the 1970&#8217;s.  It is approved as an appetite suppressant to help diminish weight in obese patients when used short-term and combined with exercise, diet, and behavioral modification.  It is typically approved for individuals who are at increased medical risk because of their weight and works by helping to release certain chemicals in the brain that control appetite.Phentermine, like most available weight loss medications, is considered an appetite suppressant medication.  Appetite suppressant medications like it promote weight loss by lessening appetite or increasing the feeling of being full.  These medications reduce appetite by increasing serotonin or catecholamine, which are two brain chemicals that affect mood and appetite.Phentermine is used in the short term treatment of obesity. Because the appetite reducing effects of Phentermine tend to decrease after a period of a few weeks, as well as other sympathomimetic appetite suppressants, are only used during the first few weeks of a weight loss program. Phentermine can lend a hand to an individual in losing weight while developing the understanding, skills and new behaviors required for long term weight loss.In the US, Phentermine is currently sold under the brand names Ionamin® (Medeva Pharmaceuticals) and Adipex-P® (Gate Pharmaceuticals). <p>What we need to get through to people is that a diet is not a bad thing. You hear them saying I can&#8217;t eat that I am on a diet, Or I am only eating non carbs this month as I am on a low carb diet. What you do not realise is that dieting this way is not going to help you lose weight it will hinder you. </p>
<p>In order to be able to eat and lose weight you need to focus on your main goal. How much weight do you want to lose? How quickly do you want to lose that weight? </p>
<p>Think of it this way. If you are currently eating 2500 calories a day your body knows that it has to burn that amount of calories. You then decide to go on a diet and cut your calorie intake to 1000 calories a day. The body then adjusts itself and starts only burning 1000 calories a day so in effect you will not be losing weight doing this kind of diet. </p>
<p>Your body needs to be trained on the amount of calories it needs to burn in order to lose weight. This is where most people fall down in their dieting. If you follow a few simple rule this can be overcome and will allow you to eat and lose weight. </p>
<p>1. Rule 1 is the most important of them all. PLANNING you have to make a plan of how much weight you want to lose and how quickly you want to lose it. You can then set goals and plan the meals you are going to eat. </p>
<p>2. You have to eat 3 solid meals a day. A lot of people skip breakfast or lunch but if you consistently eat 3 meals a day it stops a lot of the snacking between meals. </p>
<p>3. Don&#8217;t stop eating food you like. Everything in moderation is fine. You do not need to deprive yourself that mid week pizza and then feel guilty the rest of the time. As long as you don&#8217;t eat 5 pizzas a week you will be just fine. </p>
<p>4. If you fall off the wagon do not give up. Start a fresh the next day and try again. A lot of people give up when they do not eat the right things. Everybody is allow a mistake just dust yourself off look at your weight loss goal and get back on that horse again. </p>
<p>These are a few rules that if you stick to you will achieve that weight loss goal that you have set yourself. You will still be able to eat and lose weight and you will not need to starve yourself. </p>

How do you plan for weight loss when chips and soft drinks for snacks and a burger on the run is how many people eat on a daily basis. However, the biggest issue to deal with when you are trying to lose weight are the negative thoughts that accompanies being overweight.<br />
Negative thoughts tend to override the positive in many people&#8217;s lives and they come out in full force on those who are facing the task of trying to lose weight. The most important thing one can do before trying to lose weight is to begin a daily journal. By keeping a daily journal for two weeks, you will be able to understand when and why these negative thoughts come out and how they may hinder your attempt to lose weight. By focusing first on the habits you have, you will begin to understand how you can plan for weight loss before you actually begin to lose weight.<br />
